Run the filter pump for at least 8 hours a day.
Cleaning above ground pool liner.
Combine one part chlorine bleach and one part water.
This will kill mold and mildew and leave the liner clean and fresh smelling.
For the best results run the pump during the day.
You can do this by filling buckets up and dumping them over the liner or hooking a hose up and spraying the water on it.
Using pool stain control products to prevent staining is also highly beneficial in keeping vinyl pool liners clean as they can make it hard for minerals in the water to stick to surfaces and cause staining.
Use a spray bottle or a small garden sprayer to apply the bleach cleaner to the liner.
Use a soft old towel on your vinyl liner to do the dirty work and let the filter continue to run while you clean the liner to eliminate any dirt you stir up.
Start with the sides of the pool taking care to scrub in broad vertical motions.

After your cleaning solution has taken shape use a mop scrub brush sponge or resilient washcloth to apply it and give the pool liner a thorough scrubbing.

The water line in your above ground pool may also need a good wipe down while cleaning.
