Use acetone for dark marble surfaces. You need to take care not to scratch it or expose it to acid such as vinegar or strong alkaline agents like ammonia and detergents. Mix 1 2 cup of baking soda and 1 tsp. One pound of powdered ingredient will cover about one square foot of marble so portion accordingly. It is easily stained dulled and scratched. You can also choose to add some dish soap if you wish.
